Virtual learning is a controversy being debated by many educators today. Some feel thatonline courses aren’t hands on enough and that students will be robbed of a proper education. Others believe that online classes are even more beneficial than attending an actual lecture. This article predicts that over over half of all college students in America will being some, if not all, online classes. I personally feel that this prediction is very exaggerated. Many students I know avoid taking online classes because they feel that they either learn more in person or that they will not thoroughly follow the course material if it is online. However, I feel that this article holds some truth. I do believe that interest is growing at a fast rate and is definitely increasing in popularity due to its convenience. Eventually online classes may very well overtake the lecture hall.
